Train User’s Experience Evaluation
■ Client: A Major Telecommunication Carrier (Japan)
■ Project Period: November 2019 – February 2020 / November 2020 – March 2021
This is a project to recreate the inside space of an actual railroad car in VR and measure the user’s line of sight and movement in the VR space. We implemented a function to recreate the condition of the train from 0% to 250% occupancy, and made it possible to measure the user experience in a crowded train, which was originally difficult to measure. The measurement results were used to evaluate effective ways to display advertisements in the train. You can view the measurement results in the same space with your colleagues in a distant location, or have a voice chat meeting on the spot.
